Chocolate Birthday Parties
Capital Confections is a destination for a perfect birthday party. We have been involved in the chocolate education of young and old, from ages 8 to 99. Classes/parties are 2 hours long and include a video of how chocolate grows and is processed and a tasting of everything from bitter chocolate to the sweetest of chocolates. We then let the “kids” have some time in the kettles and watch their faces as they dip treats into 30 pounds of swirling chocolate. The adults get to dip truffles and cookies and the kids get Rice Krispie Treats, Oreos, pretzels, etc. Participants get to take home everything they make.
There is time for birthday presents and cake for the kids and for the adults there is time for appetizers and beverages. Please call for an estimate on your chocolate-making experience.
